The program Russian hospitality by family project 101 Visit
We welcome guests of Russia in our Moscow appartment, and also in the country house (dacha) in the village of Leonovo, Vladimir region.
In our Moscow apartment our guests are offered a traditional Russian tea party with tea from a samovar, with delicious homemade pies or pancakes with honey and jam, with red caviar and other goodies. Often our table is served for a heavier dinner with a snack, traditional Russian drinks and hot dishes prepared by the hospitable hosts.
In a leisurely conversation over tea, our guests learn from us a lot about the life of ordinary Muscovites in a "sleeping area" of the Moscow metropolis. In turn, we are always interested to communicate with foreign guests and learn about life in their country.
In summer and winter holidays we invite our foreign guests to a one-day tour outside Moscow to our dacha near the town of Petushki. Russian barbecue on the fire (shashlik) with Russian drinks and home-made snack is waiting for guests in our country house. Of course, we treat guests to tea from a samovar with a variety of Russian sweets to the table.
As part of this tour, we traditionally take our guests to the village of Krutovo to our neighbour John Kopiski, a Russian entrepreneur of British origin, who created the famous in Russia and abroad agricultural tourist complex Bogdarnya, where there are all conditions for entertainment in the Russian style and overnight in a very comfortable guest house.
